The Solent is one of the best sailing locations in the UK. With its sheltered waters and quality marinas it is ideal for both learners and experienced sailors.

Destinations such as Beaulieu, Yarmouth, Lymington, Newtown and Cowes are all easily accessible, each with its fair share of great pubs, restaurants and attractions. The Solent is also a great starting point if you are thinking of venturing a little further and exploring the French coast, the Channel Islands, or the South West or South East coastlines of the UK.

All of Big Blue’s yachts comply with MCA "Code of Practice" for commercial sailing vessels and are fitted with large screen colour chart plotters, NAVTEX, AIS, DSC radio and other essential navigation aids together with the highest standard of safety equipment. We also offer a hand-picked skipper for those looking to improve some of their sailing skills whilst building mileage towards a RYA qualification.
